Terms & Conditions for Vendors
Effective Date: April 2025 onwards
Welcome to VintaBid, operated by Siam Vintage Trading Co., Ltd. (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Vendor Terms and Conditions (“Vendor Terms”) apply specifically to users who register as sellers (“vendors”) on the VintaBid platform.
By registering and selling on VintaBid, you agree to be bound by these Vendor Terms, as well as our general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Please read carefully before listing your items.
1. Vendor Eligibility
To sell on VintaBid, you must:
Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
Provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
Comply with all applicable local and international laws related to the sale of goods.
2. Vendor Responsibilities
As a vendor, you agree to:
Accurately describe your items, including brand, size, material, era (if known), condition, and any flaws.
Ensure all items listed are authentic, legal, and owned by you.
Ship sold items promptly and securely once payment is confirmed.
Respond to buyer inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain confidentiality of buyer information and use it only for transaction-related purposes.
3. Listing Policies
All listings must comply with VintaBid’s content guidelines.
No counterfeit, illegal, stolen, or prohibited items may be listed.
Listings must not contain misleading or false information.
Reserve prices (if set) must be disclosed when creating the auction listing.
4. Selling Fees and Commissions
VintaBid charges sellers a commission fee based on the final sale price of each item sold.
Fee rates will be clearly displayed before you list your items and are subject to change with prior notice.
Fees are deducted automatically from your final payout.
5. Payments and Payouts
Payments from buyers are processed through VintaBid’s authorized payment system.
Payouts to vendors will be made within [insert payout timeframe, e.g., 5–7 business days] after buyer payment confirmation, minus applicable fees.
Vendors must provide accurate banking or payment information to receive payouts.
VintaBid is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete vendor payout information.
6. Vendor Conduct
Vendors must:
Act honestly, respectfully, and fairly toward buyers and other users.
Avoid engaging in any fraudulent, abusive, or misleading behavior.
Comply with VintaBid’s rules, policies, and applicable laws at all times.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your vendor account for any violations.
7. Disputes
If a dispute arises between a buyer and a vendor, VintaBid may assist in resolving the issue, but final responsibility rests with the vendor.
Vendors are encouraged to communicate clearly and resolve issues promptly and amicably.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your own product images and descriptions, but by listing on VintaBid, you grant us a license to display and use your content for marketing and promotional purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
VintaBid provides the selling platform “as is” without warranties.
We are not responsible for the condition of goods, shipping losses, buyer payment defaults, or any indirect damages resulting from sales activities.
10. Changes to Vendor Terms
We may modify these Vendor Terms at any time.
Changes will be posted on the VintaBid website and will become effective immediately upon posting.
Your continued use of the platform as a vendor constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
