ℹ️ History and Appraisal
Chiva buses are a folkloric symbol in Colombian and Ecuadorian rural culture, often used for transporting goods and people. During the 90s tourist boom, shirts featuring these buses became popular in local street markets. This tee, produced under the lesser-seen brand “Pupil,” captures that era. These were rarely exported, making authentic vintage finds like this increasingly sought-after in niche collector circles.

Can anyone sell on VintaBid?
Yes, but sellers need to apply for a seller account. This helps us maintain quality and protect the community from fast fashion or fake items.
What kinds of items can I find on VintaBid?
You’ll find real vintage clothes, curated second-hand pieces, select handmade fashion (new items), and accessories. No fast fashion is accepted — just real style with character.
How do auctions work?
Each item on VintaBid is listed with a starting bid and a countdown timer. Buyers can place bids until the auction ends — the highest bidder at the closing time wins the item and proceeds to payment.
Buyers also have the option to use automatic bidding. Simply set the maximum amount you’re willing to pay, and VintaBid will automatically increase your bid only as needed to keep you in the lead — up to your limit.
Sellers can customize each listing by setting:
A starting price (the initial bid amount),
A reserve price (the minimum you’re willing to sell for), and
An optional Buy Now price — allowing a buyer to skip the auction and purchase the item immediately.
Will I get a notification if I win an auction?
Yes! You’ll get an email and a message in your VintaBid account as soon as the auction ends.
Can I sell multiple items at once?
Yes — once your seller account is approved, you’ll get access to a seller dashboard where you can list, manage, and promote multiple products.
I have other items to sell. Can I add them?
